This article is about how Fox is trying to stop the "Black Swan" Intern Suit. It is a follow up of a last blog i posted. Fox was having problems with some interns who sued for unpaid labor. Fox got a lot of sues for many different reason's. Fox is now trying to stop this from getting out of hand, they are trying to fix things. The article is also explaining how some of the interns who sued Fox were not even working for Fox and were actually working for Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky’s production company.
I think this is important because it shows that Fox is trying to fix things. It also shows that it is important because some of the information that come out are not true. This impacts me as a student and a future filmmaker because it shows that you need to be prepared for what is to come in the film industry. As a consumer this can impact because you are not able to know who is telling the truth between both companies. Some questions that this brings up is : " Who is telling the truth? " "How will this change when Fox has to work with other companies, will other companies not want to work with Fox?"

I agree with you because you never do know what can happen. Fox needs to stop being sued. They have been sued plenty of times and they better hope that they can win this law suit. This might even mess up their reputation.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Fox has been through s lot lately and it is hard to see who is telling the truth or not. This can be useful because it informs us the things happening in the film companies. I have the same questions as you.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you because if you're trying to look for a job in the near further and Fox let's say wants to hire you. It is important to know who's telling the truth and who's not, just so you won't want to be in the position of suing Fox as well.
